The Detroit Lions have begun the process of dumping salary. And Kyle Vanden Bosch will be among the next to go. The 34-year-old defensive end has been informed he'll be released, according to a person informed of the impending roster move. The person, who spoke to USA TODAY Sports on condition of anonymity because the move was not official. The person was unsure when the move will be completed. His base salary for 2013 is slated to be $5 million. He has two more years at $8 million in base salary.
