As expected, the Lions have ruled out tight end Brandon Pettigrew for Sunday with an ankle injury, but there is some hope that linebacker DeAndre Levy will play. “If I am a betting man, then I know who’s playing,” defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham said. “Levy will play no matter what. He is a tough guy and is preparing himself. It is too bad he couldn’t get more practice reps but he will be ready.” Levy has not taken a single practice rep this week because of a foot injury and he is officially listed as questionable. Veteran Rocky McIntosh has practiced with the first team defense in Levy’s place.
