Jean-Francois Jacques has bounced around the AHL during his career. With his acquisition by the Tampa Bay Lightning organization this morning from the Florida Panthers (in exchange for future considerations), Jacques will be making his return to upstate New York and the Syracuse Crunch, who he played with last season when the club was affiliated with the Anaheim Ducks. Jacques, a 27-year-old, 6' 3", 231 pound left wing, is a veteran of 166 NHL games (mostly played with the Edmonton Oilers). He played 65 games with the Syracuse Crunch last season. Perhaps he can be seen as both a veteran hand for Syracuse in 2nd half of the AHL season as well as a replacement on the Crunch for Pierre-Cedric Labrie, who is playing with the Lightning?
