Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang and goaltender Matt Murray are injured and will not play against the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday (7:30 p.m. ET; FS-CR, ATTSN-PT, NHL.TV). Letang did not play in a 5-4 shootout win against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday because of a lower-body injury and is considered day to day, coach Mike Sullivan said. The Penguins recalled defenseman Frank Corrado from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League on Thursday. Murray is day to day because of an upper-body injury He made 29 saves Wednesday.
