Having already lost senior Leslee Smith for the entire season after he suffered a knee injury during the summer, the Nebraska basketball program announced that it has taken another hit to its front court. 6-foot-5 freshman small forward B.J. Day suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during practice this week, and the injury will sideline the Lincoln native for the entire 2014-15 season. Day will apply for a medical redshirt, which would preserve the year of eligibility.
