Stoke teenager Andrew Cherdieu is a target for Nice this summer. The 18-year-old central defender, who joined the Potters' academy last year from Racing Club in France, has trained with their first team squad this season. Cherdieu has impressed for the Under 18 side this term, also playing up with the Under 23s on occasion. He won plaudits for a FA Youth Cup second leg performance against Manchester City. Nice are renowned for blooding youngsters, although Stoke are likely to want to keep hold of their player. Caen - who brought N'Golo Kante through - are also thought to be interested in landing him, with a loan move to the Football League an option too.
