LaVar Ball made another appearance on CNN Tuesday morning, addressing the fact that on Monday he took his son LiAngelo out of UCLA. The last time Ball was on CNN, it was to address his ongoing war of words with Donald Trump, and that's where Tuesday's interview began. LaVar says he sent some of Lonzo Ball's signature shoes over to the White House, and then mocked the situation by saying Trump should thank him for it. LaVar was referring to the fact Trump wanted the father to thank him for his part in helping LiAngelo out of China after his shoplifting scandal. LiAngelo was indefinitely suspended from UCLA as a result of the shoplifting arrest, and hasn't played this season since. Fed up with the punishment, LaVar pulled his son out of school.
