Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Lane Johnson is extremely upset with the media about something, and he is contemplating not speaking with reporters for the remainder of his career because of it. On Wednesday, Johnson blew by reporters and said he is “done talking for the year.” He refused to explain why, but he said the decision may be a permanent one. Longtime Eagles reporter Les Bowen, who covers the team for The Philadelphia News, speculated that Johnson could be upset over some things that were written after the Pro Bowler blasted the officiating crew in Monday night’s win over the Raiders for calling two holding penalties on him. Johnson ripped the officials for making “bulls—” calls and encouraged the media to print his quotes. “I think (the holding calls) was ricky-tacky bulls—,” he said, via Jeff Kerr of 247 Sports. “You can put that in the papers.” Johnson also took a shot at All-Pro defensive end Khalil Mack.
