MLB is attempting to confront its latest cheating scandal that's widespread throughout the game, as many pitchers use sticky and illegal substances to create a greater spin rate on their pitches.
While many hitters are now expressing their frustration in a season dominated by those on the mound, a notable veteran pitcher joined the outcry as well. White Sox right-hander Lance Lynn believes the use of banned sticky substances must stop, he said on MLB Network Radio on Thursday morning.
"I've seen some stuff lately that I never saw early on in my career," Lynn said. "It's gotten too far to be honest with you. I think everybody would agree with that. I think there's obviously a way that everybody can go about it where there's an even playing field all around where guys aren't using these glues or whatever they're called."
