Devils general manager Lou Lamoriello today said there is nothing new to report on goalie Martin Brodeur's right knee injury. Although Brodeur said he "tweaked" his knee during the first period of Sunday's 4-1 victory in Montreal, the Devils are still calling it a bruise. Bodeur went down to make a save on a Tomas Plekanec shot with 4:45 remaining in the first period at the Bell Centre. He labored to get back up. The goalie later explained that he caught his right knee underneath his body and when he got back up it was "a little sore."
