LaMarcus Aldridge is looking to extend his stay in San Antonio. The Spurs veteran forward recently became engaged in contract extension discussions with the team, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported. Aldridge signed a four-year contract worth $80 million with San Antonio in July 2015 after spending the previous nine seasons in Portland. With $21.4 million remaining on his deal, he is eligible to exercise an opt-out option in his contract for the 2018-19 season and become a free agent if an agreement is not reached by the 11:59 deadline Monday.
