The Arizona Cardinals have made plenty of noise this offseason, sending waves throughout the NFL. They signed J.J. Watt in free agency and added A.J. Green as well. They went out and drafted Zaven Collins, the stud linebacker from Tulsa, in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. They followed that up with taking the dynamic speedster Rondale Moore, out of Purdue.
It’s been a busy offseason and one that has provided quarterback Kyler Murray with plenty of weapons moving forward. Yet, it’s the young star quarterback that may have the Cardinals a tad worried after his recent comments.
Murray spoke with the media for the first time since the end of last season on Thursday. He was asked many things, per the usual for a QB1. His answer about his future was the one that sent the radars off for many.
First off, this isn’t to bury Kyler Murray for saying he still wants to play baseball if given the opportunity. Good for him. However, this isn’t your cornerback, your wide receiver or your kicker saying this. It’s your franchise quarterback for the Cardinals. A former No. 1 overall pick.
