Kristaps Porzingis showed no concern over his sprained right ankle, but the Knicks superstar still might not be ready to return Sunday afternoon against the Magic. Despite making progress on the ankle he badly turned Wednesday in a win over the Heat, Porzingis didn’t practice Friday, and remains day-to-day. “I’m feeling pretty good. I would say I’ve already made a lot of progress since it happened,” Porzingis said. “I’m doing much better. I’m walking, but I’m trying to stay off my feet as much as I can. I’m trying to get this swelling down, and getting treatment like three times a day and I’m trying to get better as soon as possible. “I will come back when I’m 100 percent. It’s not a thing that I should force now and then maybe later it can backfire. I’ll take my time, but if I feel 100 percent I might be back Sunday.” When Porzingis went down, though, he was briefly as worried as the Madison Square Garden crowd.
