The Blackhawks will continue their seven-game trip without Bryan Bickell around as the winger will be sidelined for at least two weeks with what a source said was a left knee injury. Bickell was injured against the Avalanche in Denver on Tuesday night when his leg buckled after he slid into the post. He returned to Chicago on Wednesday to be evaluated while his teammates headed to Winnipeg for the second game of the trip. Coach Joel Quenneville said after the Hawks’ morning skate at MTS Centre on Thursday that Bickell is “likely out a couple of weeks … that’s the time frame.” Asked to clarify, Quenneville said it could be “two to three” weeks before Bickell returns. The plan for now is to not put the veteran on the long-term injury list. “I don’t think we’re there yet,” Quenneville said. “Hopefully, that’s not the case.” Rookie Jeremy Morin, who was recalled from Rockford on Wednesday, replaced Bickell in the lineup against the Jets.
