Pro Football Talk is reporting that the current plan for free agent QB Kirk Cousins is to not agree to terms with a team during the two-day negotiating period. Instead, Cousins is expected to take “one or more visits” starting on March 14 to meet with prospective teams. When it comes to the top available free agents, contracts are usually hammered out with agreements in place before the free agent market opens. However, it appears as though Cousins would like to make some face-to-face meetings to help him get a feel for the interested teams and want is ultimately the best move for him. Recent reports have said that the Vikings are expected to make a serious push to land Cousins and he should have interest from the Broncos, Browns and Jets as well.
