Jonathan Quick didn't start making big saves while the Kings' plane was still taxiing toward the gate at O'Hare, it just seemed that way. The goaltender had already shut out the Blackhawks twice this season — and yielded two goals in another meeting — before manning the crease for the final matchup of 2011-12 between the teams Sunday night at the United Center. Quick was up to his usual tricks and defeated the Hawks for the third time, holding them to scores by Marcus Kruger and Patrick Kane in regulation and stopping six shootout attempts during a 3-2 Kings victory in front of a crowd of 21,398.
