The L.A. Kings announced on Tuesday that goaltender Jonathan Quick will be having shoulder surgery this week to repair wear and tear that he has sustained over the years.

It was yet another disappointing year for both Quick and the Kings. From a team perspective, they finished with just 49 points in the West Division, which was 14 shy of the fourth place St. Louis Blues. For the now 35-year-old Quick, he had another disappointing year, finishing with a save percentage (SV%) under .900 for the second time in three years.
