Kings coach Sutter was in the midst of his daily question-and-answer session with reporters when someone asked about the improved diet of today's players over those of yesteryear. Sutter said he believed eating well was important because players need to burn the right kind of fuel. Sutter bristled when a reporter pointed at the McDonald's logo on the promotional signage hanging on a wall behind where the coach conducts his media interviews. Sutter, who is unfailingly blunt, then said something that was sure to anger one of the Kings' biggest corporate sponsors. "I haven't been in one of them since they cut off Alberta beef, and that was quite a few years ago, and I don't even like standing besides it," said a scowling Sutter, who spends his offseasons working on his family's farm outside of Viking, Alberta.
