There was good news for the L.A. Kings, and perhaps Canada’s Olympic hockey team on Thursday. Jeff Carter, who is out with what has been reported to be a fractured foot suffered on Oct. 30, took to the ice for a skate along with other injured players Kyle Clifford and Jordan Nolan. All three are now listed as day-to-day, according to LA Kings Insider. Carter, 28, was placed on injured reserve at the start of November. In 14 games, he had scored five goals and nine points.
