Former Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier has revealed he's heard record signing Tanguy Ndombele is "frightening", while also heaping praise on Jose Mourinho.
The Frenchman arrived at Tottenham in a £63million deal last summer, expected to be the long-term successor of previous midfield general Mousa Dembele.
Ndombele has struggled for form and fitness throughout his first season, however, particularly under Jose Mourinho. The 23-year-old, despite catching the eye of the manager in training, is yet to feature in Tottenham's two games following football's restart.
Trippier played his last game for Tottenham in their Champions League final defeat to Liverpool last year, subsequently sealing a £20m transfer to Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.
