The Toronto Blue Jays look like the superteam that was promised so far in the early 2022 MLB season. They have a 12-6 record, the fourth-best in Major League Baseball at the moment, and several of their stars are shining bright. Although Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is still mashing and Alek Manoah has been unbeatable, Kevin Gausman is having a historically dominant start to the season.

The Blue Jays’ pitching rotation has been very good and Gausman has been the best one. The 31-year-old has been nothing short of amazing so far. He has recorded an ERA of 2.19 through four starts and 24.2 innings. He also has an outrageous FIP of 0.56 and has not allowed a single home run or walk yet.

In what appears to be an unbelievable record, Kevin Gausman has broken the record for most strikeouts before allowing a walk during the first season with a new team since 1900.
