Friday started a critical series against the Cubs, as the Brewers look to make a push over the last month of the series. However, that stretch took a tough turn, as one of their best players came out of the game.
In the third inning, Keston Hiura collided with Kyle Schwarber to end the inning. At the time, he seemed ok, but two innings later, he was obviously hurting from the injury. He was removed from the game, though no immediate word was available on the severity of the injury. It’s also uncertain whether or not the collision was the cause of or contributed to the injury.
