Maple Leafs sniper Phil Kessel is now the chaser after falling behind Philadelphia Flyers winger Claude Giroux in the NHL scoring race. Giroux had four points, including the winning goal, in the Flyers' 5-4 overtime win over the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday. He now has 36 points, one more than Kessel. Giroux had a chance to extend his lead Thursday night at home against the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins. No Flyer has ever won the NHL points title.
