Five-star combo guard Cason Wallace, one of the top-10 recruits in the Class of 2022, has committed to Kentucky. Wallace is ranked No. 7 in the class and No. 2 among combo guards in the group, according to the 247Sports Composite Rating.
"They have a history of getting players to the league," he told 247Sports on Sunday. "So just going there and trying to be one of those players to make it is going to be good."
The Richardson, Texas, native selected the Wildcats over Tennessee, Texas, Baylor, Kansas, Texas A&M and more. Wallace joins fellow top-20 recruits Shaedon Sharpe (ranked No. 1 nationally), Chris Livingston (No. 6) and Skyy Clark (No. 17) in Kentucky's 2022 class. His commitment puts Kentucky's class at No. 1 in the country, just ahead of Duke.
