Move over Andrew and Aaron Harrison. A new set of twins have pledged to join the Kentucky Wildcats.
Twin brothers Keaten and Destin Wade, both four-star football recruits from the Nashville, Tennessee area, committed to Kentucky's 2022 recruiting class Friday. The Wade brothers picked UK over Tennessee, Louisville and Virginia.
Keaten, an outside linebacker, is the more highly touted of the brothers as the No. 156 prospect in the entire 2022 class, according to Rivals.com, but Destin, listed as an "athlete" by the recruiting services, might be the more intriguing long-term prospect thanks to his ability to play quarterback.
Destin led Summit High School to the program's first Tennessee 5A state championship last season, throwing for 1,390 yards with 19 touchdowns and rushing for 1,509 yards and 18 scores. Keaten missed most of the 2020 season with a foot injury but totaled 10 sacks as a sophomore in 2019 while rushing for 1,258 total yards and 18 touchdowns on offense.
