T.J. Yates and Case Keenum split time at quarterback during Texans practice Wednesday coach Gary Kubiak said. Neither player is in the lead to start Sunday at Kansas City. “I believe in both of them. … They both understand our offense” Kubiak said. Matt Schaub is still very sore his leg injury remains swollen and he did not practice Wednesday. Kubiak plans to meet with team doctors to evaluate Schaub’s status. He has not been ruled out against the Chiefs and the Texans may wait until game day to update his status and announce a starter. “I could wait on Matt until Sunday ” Kubiak said.
