Orlando City don't start MLS play until 2015, but Kaka looks set to be their first designated player. According to ESPN's Taylor Twellman, AC Milan's Kaka will sign with MLS expansion team Orlando City SC as their first-ever designated player. Because the club does not start MLS play until 2015, he'll be loaned to Sao Paulo, whose season runs through December. Kaka has been linked to Orlando City since they were awarded an expansion franchise, and he's been a popular candidate to be a big-name MLS designated player signing for quite some time. Back in May, AS reported that Kaka already had a verbal agreement with the club, but the player himself said that no such deal existed.
