Last Tuesday, Colin Kaepernick’s lawyer boldly stated he expected a team to call and sign his client to the team with ten days, stating, “I think the NFL has to come to their senses, and realize every day that goes by just proves the collusion case even more.” Well, nine days later and absolutely nothing has happened in regards to the free agent quarterback being signed and defense attorney Mark Geragos believes teams unwillingness to sign him will make their collusion case that much stronger. “I have to say I just thought it was a no-brainer that somebody would do the right thing and sign him and the fact that they haven’t, thank you very much,” Geragos said on the “Reasonable Doubt” podcast, recorded last Monday. “They’ve just made the case even stronger.” Geragos cited the terrible performances by the signal callers on the Houston Texans and Denver Broncos as more than enough reason for these teams to call the former San Francisco 49ers QB, who had 16 TD’s and 4 INT’s just last season.
