Dani Alves is ready to agree a two-year deal with Manchester City once he resolves his departure from Juventus. Chelsea also plan to speak to the Brazilian's representatives but his mind is set on a reunion with his former coach Pep Guardiola. The 34-year-old's agents held talks with Juventus in Turin on Monday about cancelling his contract by mutual consent to enable him to leave on a free transfer. Juve had initially discussed a £5million fee for the defender as he has one year left on his contract, but he now hopes to leave for nothing. The 34-year-old is still considered one of the best right backs in the world and will look to fill a space left by Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna, both of whom have been released.
