Carmelo Anthony will likely sign a big contract this summer, but it might cost him a friend. The All-Star forward appears to want to out of New York, and there are rumors connecting Anthony with the Miami Heat. The move could lead to a new “Big Four” with Anthony, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh if contracts are restructured. Fans in Miami might be thrilled about the move, but one of Anthony’s teammates with the New York Knicks isn’t quite as happy with the possibility. J.R. Smith, who played nearly eight seasons with Anthony on both the Knicks and the Denver Nuggets, apparently would take exception if Anthony went to South Beach. Saturday afternoon, Smith seemed bitter in response to a question on Twitter regarding the Anthony speculation.
