Jose Mourinho has told Zlatan Ibrahimovic he can leave Manchester United to join LA Galaxy in MLS. Ibrahimovic, who is making his way back an injury setback following a seven-month lay-off, is wanted by Galaxy, with the MLS transfer window opening on February 7. Mourinho claimed he knew nothing of Galaxy's interest in the 36-year-old, but admitted United will not stand in Ibrahimovic's way if he decides he wants to go in the coming weeks. "He told me nothing about it," said Mourinho. "The first time I read something or listened to something about it was from you media. "He never mentioned that to me, so I don't know. Zlatan is in the last year of his contract, so if – and I say if if, if - that is true and Zlatan wants a future in another club, another country, we are here to help and create conditions for that to happen, not to make his life difficult. "But the last thing Zlatan told me he was to recover totally and help the team. That was the last thing I heard from him." The arrival of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal has further limited Ibrahimovic's opportunities at United, with the iconic striker said to be ready to call time on his United career.
