Jose Bautista earned his third straight all-star berth Sunday when major league baseball announced its starting lineups for the June 11 game in Kansas City. Bautista, who set a Blue Jays record with 15 homers in the month of June, was voted in by fans. Bautista said it is all but certain he will participate in the annual home run derby. "It's fun, and it's definitely something I want to do," Bautista said. "The invitation has come my way and I'm 99 per cent sure I will be in it, but I've got to run it by the team. If it were up to me right now, I'd say yes." Bautista said he was deeply honoured to be voted in for a second straight year by fans. He is also honoured to represent Canada's lone team. "It's a break from a long season. You get some down time and at the same time you play in a game where the results matter for the World Series (determining which league's champion gets home-field advantage)," Bautista said.
