Jorginho’s agent has made it a (somewhat annoying) habit to keep his main man’s name in just about every Sarri conversation, and that’s been especially true over the past couple months as the former Chelsea boss has been increasingly linked with a return to Napoli at the end of the season.

While their form has improved in recent weeks, Gennaro Gattuso isn’t expected to survive beyond the season, with Sarri apparently on deck after clearing the air and any residual awkwardness with Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis after what was a contentious exit (to Chelsea) in 2018.

Should Sarri be appointed at Napoli (or any other team, really), we can expect a deluge of Jorginho transfer rumors to follow — even though Jorginho himself has been adamant about wanting to get out from under Sarri’s second-hand smoke, figuratively and literally.
