Liverpool fear they’ll be without captain Jordan Henderson for the Reds’ trip to Brighton this weekend.

The midfielder is struggling with a calf injury and will undergo a late fitness test to see if he can feature against the Seagulls.

Liverpool are already without Dejan Lovren and his absence is set to be filled by Fabinho playing in an unorthodox centre-back position.

Fabinho’s move means Henderson was likely to start against Chris Hughton’s men but the England star is struggling with an issue that kept him out of the FA Cup defeat to Wolves.
