When Jonathan Toews' skates touched the ice at Johnny's IceHouse West on Saturday, fans in attendance cheered. Even some teammates got involved, sending their own sarcastic shouts his way. Toews (concussion) practiced with the team for the first time in more than a week after suffering a setback. As excited as he was to participate, he's doing his best to temper his emotions and stay on the safe path toward a full recovery. "I feel like I'm getting back to that stage to where I'm progressing and getting closer to feeling the right way," Toews said. "I'm just staying positive, hoping that this is the time that hopefully we break through." Toews has skated five consecutive days after taking a break last week when his symptoms returned after four days of skating. He will miss his 16th consecutive game Sunday against the Predators.
