Remi Garde has confirmed Jack Grealish will not be involved in Aston Villa's match against Watford following a breach of club discipline. The 20-year-old was demoted to the club's development squad indefinitely on Monday after he was pictured in a national newspaper on two nights out at the weekend. Grealish was captured at a Manchester nightclub just hours after Villa's 4-0 loss to Everton at Goodison Park then again at a Birmingham venue the following evening. That came after he was fined by the club earlier this year having been pictured inhaling nitrous oxide in a hotel room. Pictures emerged on Tuesday of Grealish's friends appearing to inhale the gas in his presence at the weekend. Garde told reporters at a press conference on Thursday morning Grealish's conduct was "not professional or expected". Although it is understood the youngster has not been fined for his behaviour, it remains to be seen when he will make a first team return.
