Reds starter Johnny Cueto left the game after retiring only one batter. Cueto threw a strike to Marco Scutaro to go up 0-2 in the count. He walked off the mound and looked up at sky. He bent over in pain. Catcher Ryan Hanigan went out to the mound. Trainer Paul Lessard and Manager Dusty Baker quickly came out of the dugout. After a short discussion, Cueto and Lessard headed to the dugout. Sam LeCure took over. No word on what is wrong with Cueto. There's a chance Cueto hurt himself on a no-pitch. He started his wind up and began to deliver when Scutaro stepped out of the box. Cueto held the ball.
