John Wall has been a topic of conversation lately after the Houston Rockets bought out the last year of his contract, allowing him to seemingly move towards joining the Los Angeles Clippers. Considering that Wall has barely been able to play over the last 3 seasons, it's easy to forget that he is one of the NBA's highest-paid players in that time.

John Wall signed a deal in 2019 worth $171 million over 4 years but at that point, the Wizards didn't know how bad his injury troubles would end up being. After moving him to the Rockets for Westbrook, Wall played a few games in the 2020-21 season but after Houston made it clear that they want to rebuild and tank, he sat out part of that season and the entirety of the 2021-22 season.

This means that over the last 3 seasons, Wall has played in just 40 games, and in that time, he has earned $123.9 million, and he is owed another $40.9 million for the coming season outside of any potential deal from the Clippers.
