Good news: There may be an explanation for Joey Gallo's recent and dramatic slump.
Bad news: It could be injury-related.
Gallo left Tuesday's 7-2 win over Seattle after the top of the eighth inning with what the Rangers termed as right wrist soreness. He had an X-ray after the game that showed no break, but is expected to undergo an MRI on Wednesday.
Apparently, the wrist issue has been bothering him for a while. He also had some soreness in the area earlier in the season.
