Philadelphia 76ers star big man Joel Embiid can’t seem to catch a break. On the same day that he returned to the Sixers’ lineup after suffering an ankle injury, Embiid hurt his right hand versus the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday and was forced to leave the game.

X-rays on Embiid’s hand were negative, per Serena Winters of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

The Sixers will face the Boston Celtics in the first round of the 2020 playoffs. Without All-Star point-forward Ben Simmons, who is out after undergoing knee surgery, the Sixers will likely lose to the Celtics.
