Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim addressed the FBI probe into illegal recruiting over the weekend, noting that "it's a difficult time right now for college basketball." An explosive report from Yahoo! Sports last week implicated numerous programs and players tied to former NBA agent Andy Miller. "Everybody knows for 30 years agents have been involved with players' families. This is nothing that would surprise anybody in coaching. Agents are trying to get clients," Boeheim said after his team's loss to Duke. Coach Mike Krzyzewski echoed Boeheim's perspective, calling it a "horrible time for the game" but noting that "the game has begged, it's been on its knees, begging for change for years." An ESPN story over the weekend reported Arizona coach Sean Miller was caught on an FBI wiretap discussing a $100,000 payment to freshman DeAndre Ayton.
