Michael Frolik is getting closer to full strength after missing Thursday’s game against the Florida Panthers with a stomach virus. Frolik started feeling sick after dinner on Wednesday night and was unable to answer the call against the organization that gave him his start. “It’s much better. I still feel a little weak. Hopefully I get a little rest and I’ll be ready,” said Frolik, who had two 20-goal seasons for the Panthers. “I wanted to play so bad there. I started my career there and I have a lot of memories in the building, like my first NHL game. “It was just bad timing and you can’t do anything about it.” The Jets will likely be without left-winger Evander Kane for a second straight game though.
