Jerry Jeudy is considered by most to be the top wide receiver in the NFL Draft. The former Alabama product is an offensive coordinator’s dream with his crisp route running, soft hands and knack for scoring.
However, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jeudy has a lingering knee issue which could cause him to fall a bit in the first round. The injury concerns caused Jeudy’s agent to put out a statement regarding his health.
Chris Cabbot, Jeudy’s agent, responded to the quote put on Twitter by local Philadelphia radio station 97.5 The Fanatic.
“No issue here,” Cabbot wrote. “The knee is fine. Jerry never missed a practice or a game in two years after the surgery. He never even needed treatment on the knee. Every team examined him at the Combine. No team saw anything that even required him to participate in the Combine recheck.”
