Linebacker Jerome Baker announced on Monday that he is leaving Ohio State and is on his way to the NFL. He is the third former Buckeye to leave early for the NFL, joining Denzel Ward and Sam Hubbard as early departures on the roster. Baker had 72 tackles in 2017, including 16 in the Big Ten Championship Game vs. Wisconsin in December. He also had eight tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, three passes defensed, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
