Andrew Marchand of the New York Post reports that former NFL head coach Jeff Fisher is scheduled to be an analyst on one NFL game during the first half of the upcoming season.

The plan, according to Marchand, is for Fisher to be paired with play-by-player Dan Hellie on the Jets-Jaguars broadcast on Sept. 30.

While a report from Wednesday mentioned that Fisher could have a larger with FOX and server as their No. 2 analyst role behind Troy Aikman while being featured on either of their two NFL Sunday pregame shows, Marchand mentions that the plan, for now, is just one regional game with the opportunity to possibly do more games or studio work down the line.
