The Toronto Blue Jays have placed second baseman Aaron Hill on the 15-day disabled list. Hill has been trying to work through a sore right hamstring that he initially injured in a game against the New York Yankees on April 19th. Needing to fill a spot on the roster for Tuesday's game against the Texas Rangers, the Blue Jays decided before Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays to place Hill on the disabled list, retroactive to April 20th. That means Hill will be able to rejoin the team as early as May 4th when the Blue Jays are in Tampa for a series against the Rays. The Blue Jays also activated Jesse Litsch from Triple-A Las Vegas and the right-hander will start Tuesday against the Rangers.
