As one of the top seeds in the East, the Celtics have to be feeling good about where they stand ahead of the NBA playoffs.

But the future is promised for the Celtics, especially when it comes to their long-term partnership with Jaylen Brown.

With the end of his current deal in sight, Brown will be looking to make as much money as he can on his next contract. Unfortunately for the Celtics, how much they can give ties into his status as an All-NBA player and where or not he makes the cut this year.

"If Jaylen makes All-NBA, he can guarantee himself $280 million this summer, and he is highly incentivized to extend this summer. If Jaylen doesn't make All-NBA, I would say he is highly incentivized not to sign it," said Brian Windhorst.
