The Washington Redskins listed Colt McCoy as their starter on the first depth chart this summer, but the veteran hasn’t played a single snap. Based on what head coach Jay Gruden said Sunday about McCoy’s progress, it may be a while before he’s ready, too.

Gruden said he’s not going to put McCoy on the field until he’s 100% healthy, and said he’s still rehabbing. He also said there is “no timetable” for a return, and that McCoy could miss the first few weeks of the season.

McCoy is rehabbing a broken leg that required multiple surgeries.
