The New York Knicks decided to go younger after the All-Star break and get some of the younger guys playing time, which meant less playing time for the likes of Jarrett Jack. There were reports that he was trying to reach a buyout with the Knicks so he could get some minutes somewhere else, and hopefully on a contender, but now it appears that won’t be the case, and Jack will be on the team for the rest of the year. Jack was the starting point guard for the team most of the season before the All-Star break, but since then, he hasn’t seen the court once.
