Devils right wing Jaromir Jagr will represent the Czech Republic again at the upcoming 2014 IIHF World Championships in Minsk, Belarus, iSport.cz reported today. Jagr, 42, is expected to join the Czech team for practices today, head coach Vladimir Ruzicka said. Jagr, who led the Devils this season with 67 points, also represented the Czech Republic at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Fellow Czech Devils Patrik Elias and Marek Zidlicky have said they won’t play in this year’s world championships, which begin on May 9. Jagr initially sounded as if he was leaning against playing in the world championships, but later said he would probably play. He said being a potential unrestricted free agent was not a concern for him.
